According to International Business Times, there was drama in Kogi State when men, heavily harmed to teeth, suspected to members of the Islamic terror group Boko Haram stormed stormed the state prison, and blew the place with dynamites.

An eyewitness, who pleaded for anonymity, confirmed there was heavy gun fire on Sunday, November 2, during the attack that lasted several hours.

Casualties have also been reported, while multiple sources believe the total prisoners freed during the attack was 132, others suggest the figure is nothing less than 144.
