Following the defection of former governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi to the Peoples Democratic Party, The National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, unanimously appointed the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano as the national leader and chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees.

Obiano replaces Mr. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra.
