When one automatically accepts Jesus as Lord then that person is at variance with his family who are unbelievers, he will be deserted, abandoned and he will suffer shame for the name of Christ... But it's not in all cases that one suffers rejection by unbelieving family members. There are some muslim fathers who take no offense in their children converting to Christianity.
