The were more Semitic in look than black.Most of them have narrow nose, curly hair and brownish skin as typically recognizable phenotype. Some of them are still found in parts of Turkey today. Those presented as blacks are new generational people whose ancestors were slaves and latter given freedom. I have come across few.They look more like the Berber. They are from Africa doesn't mean they are blacks. At least, learn to distinguish that.
