I have been playing with the thought in my mind
for the last 48 hours. Should I ask my boyfriend
for a little help? With that being said, I recently
ran into a major issue which prevented me from
having enough money to pay my debt. I
asked my mother of course but wasn't able to get
help there.
The next person I considered was my boyfriend but I feel
like I shouldn't ask him for money,even though I am sure
he has it, I just couldn't bring myself to asking
that question.
I don't want to be a burden to him and seem
needy. Right now I am a full time student with
little to no income so, when we are together he
foots the bill 100% of the time.
The first thing that comes to my mind is " GOLD
DIGGER" and I don't want him to see me that
way.
I do want to know if he is the type of person that
is willing to help if I needed it though. He may
have said it verbally but I am curious.we have been dating for 6months.

Simply share the problem,how you have not been finding things easy and have not been able to get enough money from your mum,he will surely understand.

Op I don't see any big deal there, tell him what u are passing through and i guess he'll understand and know how best to help u. Talking about being labelled a gold digger, no one should refer to U as a gold digger for demanding for the first time. Moreover, it's a request which means he has the right to give or not depending on his financial status and the understanding of ur situation.

Ask him, don't let desperation be read in ur demand or u'll make a big deal out of it if he doesn't give U which I know U won't.
No conclusion should be made without any trial,so don't conclude yet about being called a gold digger or otherwise until U give it a try by telling him what U ar facing.

I got there, celebrated. Time to go, I was shot of money. I needed #200 to complete my t.p. I tried asking. Was too shy.

So I left, trekked from Awolowo way Ikj to Ikeja along. To mice my money.

Lesson is.....Learn to share your problem. Atleast, with a few people.

From my own perspective, its highly inappropriate.Its almost like a red flag but in your case, I would make an exception.
