to be frank with you it is not possible cos the credit unit left for just 1 session cannot too have much impact in the credit unit u have accrued in the last three sessions. do the maths yourself assume u will have A's in all the rest of your courses and c d possible outcome.

A 2.1 is Possible if and only if u have 5 dot in ur final year both semester.... Not only dat, I hope u know that ur C.G.P.A brings back to the scene ur past results, so if you've had some cool grades earlier, it will definately meet up wt 2.1 in d end but on d other hand, if the past results hasn't been nice, they might not be a cog even when summed up wt the proposed 5dot

Since 2:1 is 3.5, it is possible. 3.09+5=8.09
Divided by 2 is 4.05
Yes this is not the real calculation but an estimation. 5 means of u score all A in ur final year.
I found myself in this situation when I was in school and came out 2:1. Been a catholic I prayed my rosary everyday, offering it for that intention then I studied more. In my final exam I had 5 A's and 1 C while I already had 4.0 in my first semester final year. When I got my result, it was a2:1.
First it was the determination

3. My effort. To God be all the glory.

Then divide the value by 4 sessions

14.27/4 = 3.5675

For error due to variation in units per session, I wuld put the value at 3.5675 +/- 0.05

NB. On a planer note, this OP can't in anyway graduate with a 2'1. He does not even know how to calculate his CGPA, how on earth do we expect him to finish with a 2'1

To be very realistic at this ur level is impossible just dont feel discourage read very hard to grad with very strong 2:2... Forget all d hypocrisy of nairalanders saying its possible some are not even in university

Yes you can but will be very tough for you.
As much as you can get at least 4.00 for the final year alone.
But be informed that final year is tougher than the others. They call it "Degree Exam" - some you may end up praying for an E, sorry D, heard NUC have abolished E.
All the same, many have got 5.00 on the final year alone!

CGPA means Cumulative Grade Point Average.
It is different from GPA which is Grade Point Average

Let assume year 1 to year 3 is 3.09, 3.09, 3.09, then final year is 'x'
Each year has a total g.p of 5.0. For 4 years= 5.0 x 4= 20. i.e if he wants to make 5.0
To make a 2/1 each year= 3.5, for 4 years ,he needs 3.5 x 4= 14.
Therefore, equation=3.09+3.09+3.09+ x=14
9.27+ x=14
X=14-9.27
X= 4.73

Therefore O.P u need 4.73 to make 2nd class upper. U can do it, all u need is Discipline, Determination and make friends with the serious students in your Class. An talking from experience as a graduate with 2nd Class upper.
