I have been a keen follower of the Nigerian politics, though am not a political scientist but as an average Nigerian who believes in the future of our dear country, having watch closely concludes that Former vice president Atiku Abubakar is the only presidential candidate that can salvage our country and turn our fortune around.
Here are my reasons.

1. He's Prepared - Atiku Abubakar is an experienced politician who has been prepared to serve Nigeria as far back as 1993 when he contested against Bashorun M.K.O Abiola under the platform of SDP, he then contested and won the governorship seat of the old gongola state, before he was selected by the PDP as running mate of Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999.

2. He's Experienced - You will agree With me that as a former vice president of Nigeria, he knows where the country lacks and what is needed to be done to get it fixed.
The Obasanjo/Atiku regime is one of the most successful in our history in terms of security and infrastructural development which he was part of, not the sorry security state we are in today, where we loose our teritorries to insurgents daily.

3.He's Business Oriented - If Nigeria economy must grow then we must look beyond our oil that is depreciating in price everyday.
Atiku is an enterprenuer that has businesses cut across major sectors of the economy like oil and gas, education, agriculture, Manufacturing etc.
His business experience can not b overemphasized if our economy must grow.

4. Age - According to statistics the percentage of presidential death in Africa is about 15%.
In fact 9 African presidents have died in office since 2008. Atiku is 68 and has not passed through the life expectancy of a Nigerian.

5. Well Defined Policies - Atiku is the only presidential aspirant that has clearly state what and how he plan to carry out his developmental strides when he's elected into office.
He's also traveling from state to state to relate well with the electorates in the process gathering suggestions on how to effectively affect lives when he comes on board.
