Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state and Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State are having the best media war of the year award. Yesterday Governor Oshiomole blasted Governor Fayose saying;

"If the Ekiti Governor is too lazy to read and too politically illiterate to know what is happening in Edo State House of Assembly, we expected his psychedelic media aides to simply shut their loud mouths rather than behave like capering neophytes."

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has told the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole to keep his mouth shut and stop meddling in Ekiti State issues.

The governor said Oshiomhole lacked moral rights to comment on happenings in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, having locked up the Edo State House of Assembly for over six months.

A statement issued by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka read; "It is unfortunate that we are in a country where people who should naturally bury their heads in shame still speak.

"Aides of a supposed Comrade Governor, who look a hapless widow in the eyes and told her to "go and die" ought to know that they lack moral rights to speak in a saner clime.

"However, because we are in a Nigeria where anything goes, aides of a governor like Adams Oshiomhole, who relocated the sittings of his State House of Assembly to his bedroom in the Edo State Government House can open their oppressive mouths and defend the indefensible.

"Is it proper for a State House of Assembly to sit in the Government House? Should a State House of Assembly complex be put under locks and keys for six months? And can actions taken in the sitting of a House of Assembly held inside the Edo State Government House be said to have stamp of legality?

"Here we are with a supposed progressive Comrade Governor perpetuating ilegalities in Edo State with lawmakers of his party, APC sitting exclusively in the Government House where he resides with his wife and children, and instead of his aides to remove the timber in their boss' eyes, they are getting concerned with the toothpicks in another person eyes.

"The reality is that whether the APC lawmakers are 15 or 5, the lawmakers cannot sit anywhere else apart from the State House of Assembly. Or are they saying that the National Assembly can also relocate to Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos?

"It is our advise that Governor Adams Oshiomhole should solve the problems in the Edo State House of Assembly and stop meddling in the Ekiti State affairs because on June 21, 2014, the people elected their governor in person of Peter Ayodele Fayose, and millions of APC evil machinations cannot stop him from governing Ekiti State for four years."

Don’t Join Me In Your Gangsterism, Oshiomhole Tells Fayose

The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday urged his Ekiti State counterpart, Governor Ayodele Fayose, not to drag his (Oshiomhole) name into the “political gangsterism that has become peculiar with the Ekiti State Governor.”

Oshiomhole spoke in reaction to a statement credited to the Ekiti Governor that he (Oshiomhole) shut down the Edo State House of Assembly and relocated sitting to the Government House.

The Edo Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Peter Okhiria, said that there was no crisis in state assembly, adding that 15 of the 24-member Assembly were members of the All Progressives Congress, while the other nine were of the Peoples Democratic Party.

He explained that of the nine PDP members, three were on suspension while the seat of another member had been declared vacant, which he said reduced the number of PDP lawmakers in the house.

While noting that decorum, respect and responsibility were elements of governance, Oshiomhole urged his Ekiti counterpart to “stop dropping the name of Governor Adams Oshiomhole to shore up his jaded image.”

Oshiomhole said, “We find it utterly laughable and as the height of political childishness for the Ekiti State Governor to hide behind his media aides and seek to drag the name of the Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, into his crude gangster tactics which he has re-introduced into Ekiti politics, less than two months after assuming office.

“If the Ekiti Governor is too lazy to read and too politically illiterate to know what is happening in Edo State House of Assembly, we expected his psychedelic media aides to simply shut their loud mouths rather than behave like capering neophytes.

“Even a kindergarten knows that 15 is greater than 5. So if five PDP members decide to sit with three suspended members and another, whose seat was declared vacant in a chamber which is undergoing renovation, then we can at best regard that as the height of crass legislative irresponsibility.

“It is ridiculous to even contemplate that the Ekiti Governor and his media aides do not know that 15 is greater than five! For sure, they seem engrossed with their stomach infrastructure mantra, such a dubious contraption which can only be contrived by an ideologically clueless and gluttonous administration.

“But for the kind of democracy we practice in Nigeria, where the PDP promotes and condones all manners of illegalities, inanities and shenanigans which have become the second nature of that party, Ayodele Fayose would have been cooling off his heels in gaol rather than brandishing the appellation of being a Governor.

Hello Mr man irrespective of what is been said to rubbish the image of the man called fayemi .I will let you know that even in ekiti he never lost because of non-performance as been depicted. The people will tell they did not send him to build roads or repair school but rather they were hungry. You need to leave in ekiti to really understand its politics.in the history of ekiti he was the most performing in their hearts they know. I trust ekiti as usual is just a matter of time before they start complaining.
Back to the issue of salaries been owed.the worked were only owed for two months .fayemi has been paying salaries for over 3 1/2 years until after the election.
The issue started only after thge election check your CBN data on allocation to ekiti state during this period. Money was not been release by the federal govt to state .it was only the month of September and October that was not paid. Mind you the FG just paid the September Allocation some Weeks back when the September allocation was release our governor paid it out as October Salary.the October allocation in not release yet.this as giving the impression that fayemi stole workers salary. It is very wrong to portray this. What is in this world that would not be left.tell a lot of projects were done by fayemi and some abandoned projects were completed. Mind you the resources of ekiti are very limited.
I just laugh the way they go about brandishing fake figures as regards the debt status. We Have the DMO which is the real keeper of all records as regards debts of any govt agencies both sTates and fg.they gave a different figure from what is been branded.
Mind you some of the debt been displayed even involved debt the state accuired from old ondo state even the debt been owed the state by the FG.
Luckily the state got a refund from the money owed by the FG from the roads done by fayemi to the the tunen of 10bilion with a promise to pay additional 5billion in couple of weeks.now presently in Ado roads without issues are been cut open to justify the spending of this money.it was claimed that the hilltop house was to expensive. Now they es surface a road that was not up to 10 weeks.they brought in people from Ibadan to start putting marble in the building , I mean imported ones. fayemi will always sAY what he will do not this saying something and doing something else. He has been sleepingin in the new Govt lodge as against the impression it is too expensive .the firstlady moved in six days after taken office.but he choose to decieve the public.Mind you a request for 100m as been made for the Refurbishment of the bedroom.he never told ekiti people that he bought a range and sent the bill to fayemi to pay the Sum it was 43m as gov elect. Pls open your eyes and I live in Ado
