Peter Okoye Reacts To National Assembly drama by Dramadiddy(m): 12:52pm On Nov 21, 2014
Peter Okoye, the outspoken of the Psqaure duo has taken to his instagram to
mock the hullabaloo that played out at the National Assembly on Thursday.
Yesterday, the House of Representatives complex in Abuja was besieged by
security operatives, preventing the House Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal and other
lawmakers from gaining access to the complex.
In retaliation, the lawmakers scaled the locked gate in a very embarrassing
manner.
Photos of their grand disorderliness have since gone viral on the social media
with different people reacting and criticizing the shameful acts happenings at the national assembly.

“Shame! Shame! And shame again!! Pls when law makers are breaking the
law…. What do they expect we the citizens to do.., to help them fix it? Haba!!!
This is a Habatetically disgrace!!!! Lmao…Jumping fence like secondary school
boys…”Law breakers … Pls not law makers,” Peter wrote on Instagram.

Everybody sef wan tok. What does Peter know about the law? "Lawmakers . . . lawbreakers . . " is now the cliché even the most political naive now uses. If I may ask, what law was broken in the action of the lawmakers? Ever since plenary was adjourned till December, the NASS complex has been open, as committees meet often. Why on earth was it locked yesterday, after Mark and Ihedioha had entered, when it was widely publicized that the House would be meeting to discuss the extention of the state of emergency in three states?

Can someone please give peter a secondary government book to read so that he will understand the actions of the lawmakers, the police has no right to close the gate, those law makers are protecting democracy it's called separation of powwrs, the police receive their orders from the president, think about it,what if the business of the day was to impeach the President,is that how he is going to send police to lock up the place? That's nothing but a dictatorship, where the executive suppressed the legislators.

The police barring them is a show of great disrepute of our system, but jumping the fence like a tout, like a thief in the night is a show of shame. Geez, whatever happened to cooling down and waiting for everything to get resolved. I don't support the police on this one, but the lawmakers who jumped the fence are indeed a disgrace to our nation.

What is it with some igbos(not all) who stupidly and clannishly supports the PDP.

Because with the reality on ground in the country after the 16years of the PDP and nothing tangible to show for it either in their own states and region and in the country I would not expect anybody to still see anything good in the PDP.

The lawmakers should sit down cry at the gate of the assembly and watch the Ekiti Assembly scenario play out in the N/A.

I think when PDP wants to try out an illegal action they first do a demo of it in Ekiti to testrun their stupid and unconstitutional activities.

Let peter tell us the last time he spent 3days in the East so we can see how good the PDP has performed to warrant his loyalty.

Okoye naive how?

It is not hard to see that he is naive. Why were the honourables barred from entering in the first place? Is it constitutional?

True, it may seem like they are breaking the law but they also seem to be protesting against an abuse of their rights.

Nothing will be resolved. Nigeria is a mad country! Everything is wrong with this country so you have to be smart when dealing with people. If saying can say 16 is greater than 19 and he had his way and nothing happened and in ekiti yesterday the same person says 7 people wish supersedes 18 others wish and he had his way again, then you have to act like him so has to have your way also. Abi no be so?? That is Nigeria for you. Everything is upside down in this country!!

Peter Okoye or whatever his filthy name is should shut his trap and face his pornographic-ridden music! He is a little monkey and filthy rat to rant on matters he has no understanding of. A country where the President is increasingly becoming autocratic - scuttling elected house of reps members from meeting because Tambuwal defected is crass irresponsibility and a big shame to the presidency and the country as a whole. I support the jumping on the fence.

Again, Nigeria will fall apart come 2015, if this trend continues. This looming civil war will catch up with this dumb, corrupt, wicked and hopeless president!

you have said it all. I wanted to use harsher words but i feel a few lessons in ssce government will do that ignorant Peter a great help. I am a qualified trained Government Teacher and i will volunteer to give him free lessons on separation of power. He only needs to bring along these textbooks. Authority in Government, Comprehensive Government and Essential Government.
