According to a statement released by the Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba on Wednesday, the Nigerian Police have tendered an unreserved apology to alleged innocent victims of the National Assembly fracas.

Part of the statement read, “we apologise to innocent victims of National Assembly Fracas”.

IGP Abba told House Committee on Police on Wednesday that actions of Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi and other APC members prompted last week siege on National Assembly.

He further stated the police action was a preemptive move to prevent an incident akin to a Burkina Faso experience

Yeah, he referred to the speaker as Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal & the reps told him to used the word SPEAKER which he's adamant, the reps told him that Tambuwal remain the speaker until the court states otherwise. He is tendering the apology because the presidency have distance itself from the brouhaha & don't wanna be use as a scape goat.

What kinda apology is this?! What has Amaechi's action got to do with the National Assembly?! How are we sure this IGP ain't a lunatic?! He babbles and blabs anyhow. Till he tenders an unreserved apology to the Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal, for referring to him as "One Alh. Tambuwal," I'd consider him as "One Police Officer Suleiman Abba," not IGP Suleiman Abba!
