All Progressives Congress (APC) has critised devaluation of
naira and described the development as not healthy for Nigeria’s
economy.
The National Publicity Secretary of APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on
Wednesday in Abuja told newsmen that the devaluation of currency
had its implications on the people and the economy.
“When the currency is devalued, it is the worst thing that can happen
to any nation.”
“All it means for a country like ours, which is import dependent, is
that more naira will be needed to buy raw materials and machines.”
“It also means that very soon, cost of living will go up,” Mohammed
said.

The devaluation is beginning to seriously impact the economy.those who transact business across the border with cotonou can testify to this.the CFA now exchanges at 345 from 324.meaning 100,000 naira will now fetch 270,000cfa as against 304,000cfa 2weeks ago.meaning people will have to spend more to buy goods from cotonou which automatically increases their selling price.so for those who like to save lots of naira in the bank,your "savings" is now worth less than it was 2weeks ago.

Is there anything the federal government does these clowns don't criticize?
