My source says Gov Amaechi was opposed to the idea but has no option than to accept the decision, if only for formality sake.

I prefer abe to dakuku. But that first step taken by the party by adopting dakuku might turn abe against them if he wins the governorship and may decamp to pdp.

So much controversy over governorship ticket in APC. Makes you wonder what the aftermath of APC presidential primaries would be, Atiku, Tambuwal,Buhari and the rest. Surely there are bound to be aggrieved parties that would feel alienated and jump ship with vendetta on mind.
