Nigeria’s 10 highest revenue receiving states based
on the federal allocations in 2013.

These states earn more than the annual budgets of some neighboring countries.

The allocations are as follows:

1. Akwa Ibom N260 billion,

2. Rivers N230 billion,

3. Delta State N209 billion,

4. Bayelsa N173 billion,

5. Lagos N168 billion,

6. Kano N140 billion,

7. Katsina N103 billion,

8. Oyo N100 billion,

9. Kaduna N 97 billion

10. Borno N94 billion.
