The daughter of former governor of Delta state James Ibori, Ms Erhiatake Ibori has won the PDP House of Assembly ticket for Ethiope West constituency. Ms Ibori clinched the party's ticket during the state PDP primaries which held this past Saturday November 29th. Other contenders for the ticket boycotted the primaries making her emerge the winner.

Former Governor of Delta State James Ibori, who was jailed in UK after he was convicted of stealing $80m meant for his State, is still making money through his companies. The story of former Delta State governor James Ibori is not unlike that of the late Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, even though they differ. Escobar was rich even though a criminal. At his peak, he owned numerous luxury residences, automobiles, and airplanes. Indeed, he even had a short-lived career in politics.
Well, people fear if IBORI’s daughter won’t follow his FATHER'S footsteps.
