The summary of what Clarke said is that, APC will welcome anything that will eliminate Jonathan from power even though it means taking Jonathan's life just for their quest for power. The individualistic quest for power by majority of APC members without the public interest is so high that they wish him dead. This I know will never happen as long as "TRUTH" is far away from their mouth and the only thing that is associated with them is "Glorifying Evil"; they can never get to that seat of power whether they like or not.
Sometimes it bits my mind when I read or hear how Mr. Lai who suppose to be resting and some people talk about Jonathan. Every blame is on Jonathan. 98% of problems we have in this country today are being contributed by our pasted leaders including Lai, Buhari, Atiku etc. Boko Haram is existing today is never the making of Jonathan. They all contributed to whatever Nigeria is today. What assurance do we have on them for good governance? All their criticism against this government is for selfish reason. Truth has since varnished from their month. They can never condemn the evil things happening in the land instead they are happy and glorifying them for their selfish aim. The born to rule attitude has eaten deep into their blood. Jonathan could not win the war against Boko Haram today is because of these set of people who want to rule us by force by pretentiously condemning openly while secretly sponsoring them.

To my people in south romancing with north...The northern ruled this nation for over 40 years out of our 53years of independent with the north totally backward that brought about the menace (Boko Haram) we are having today. The question is, how many northern have even appeared to criticise any of our leaders from the north while in office, irrespective of total negligence from their leaders. It is totally annoying seeing our political leaders from south romancing politics with them because of personal greed. You are in APC or PDP, your name can never change or neither is it going to change your attitude. You were once a failure in one party and you will remain a failure in another party. Party name can never change you. All your contribution is geared towards greed or ending up letting the northern achieve their aim. Let everybody from the south support Yoruba or Igbo that comes out from south irrespective of party or better still support Jonathan. I know the war from Boko Haram will never cease if our next election produces a southern as president, be him Jonathan or somebody else. The Hausas (Northern)will continue with their Born to Rule Attitude to destabilise this nation with people like Mr. Lai using Boko Haram to make this nation ungovernable as their promise.

RECREATING NIGERIA THROUGH YOUR VOTES

Looking at the lack of objectivity amongst Nigerians on who to vote leaves one wondering if Nigerians are completely incapable of making good decision for their own benefit. It is surprising that given the current high rate of unemployment, lack of infrastructure especially good roads, poor electricity, irresponsible and unresponsive civil service, brutal and oppressive police, inefficient leadership marred by corruption at all levels and the ever increasing gap between the rich and the poor, Nigerians are still comfortable to base their choice of who to vote on ethnic/tribal, religious and regional sentiments.

These three factors; ethnic/tribal, religious and regional considerations are some of the most unfortunate variables that work against sound decisions. Unfortunately, the 2015 elections have assumed the coloration of all these factors. The majority of the masses have bought into this line of reasoning sold to them by their self-serving elites who cannot articulate better policies and political ideologies while some sections of the media have continued to set ethnic, religious and regional agenda for the people by constantly writing and reporting the ethnic/tribal, religious and regional angles of the future elections. The masses on their part have failed to see that these mundane sentiments have only plunged them into further suffering.

In 1811, Joseph de Maistre (1753-1821) wrote: "Every nation has the government it deserves."Since most Nigerians seem to lack the ability to be inventive in articulating and prioritizing needs that will greatly improve their fortunes as a people, their leaders take them for a ride every now and then knowing that their followers are unable to confront oppressive leadership but can only groan under it. Joshua Wong, a 17 year old, is leading a large protest to challenge China’s decision to vet candidates for elections in Hong Kong when our youths are busy singing the praise of self-serving politicians in exchange for liquor and paltry sums while others are busy perfecting their skills on dancing ‘Doro’, all in the midst of staggering unemployment figures, death traps called roads, poor electricity, unresponsive and irresponsible public servants, oppressive police and corrupt leadership.

There are two ways to get responsive government; the first is by confronting irresponsible and unresponsive ones while the second is by voting in responsible and responsive ones. Since we are not able to take the high road of confronting bad leadership, it is expected that we take the wise path of doing things differently with our votes come 2015. It is time to recreate our collective destiny. We can only recreate our destiny in a positive light if we desist from basing our voting decisions on mundane sentiments which have only kept us down for too long. It is reasonable to think that Nigerians have collective aspiration for employment, reduction of poverty, putting an end to the reckless behaviours of civil servants and security agents as well as elected officials, improvement of power supply, upgrade of infrastructures etc, and it does not matter whether the crop of leaders that will help us achieve all these comes from the west, east, north or south, or even if he is a Christian, Muslim or Traditionalist.

For once, someone sees behind the smokescreen. My classmate serving in Bauchi at that time narrowly escaped them, oh yes, BUhari gave that order quite alright. I was in Ebonyi partaking in same election 2011, so I can never forget the incident. For those who rely on the media , goodluck to you. Nothing like being in the field and experiencing things for yourself. Am not into politics by the way, so I don't support any party, but just calling a spade a spade.

The major reason Buhari won't be proven to be a staunch partaker and supporter of BH is cus religious lines have been crossed. So its pretty hard for Muslims to understand this, even though the average Muslim on the street is a peace-loving fellow. I have many Muslim friends by the way, but I don't discuss such cus they're wired to believe otherwise.
Now, how about splitting the country along religious lines, that way, a northerner will always rule the north, and a southern rules his south. Why not? Sudan did it. That way, peace will reign in the long-term. But if someone raises that motion, oh no, people will say he is a troublemaker, a divider, etc. Why won't Abraham and Lot divide when they couldn't see eye to eye? Its similar circumstances here.
