A Question For Theists by Nobody: 9:30pm On Dec 08, 2014
I don't have time for unnecessary intro so let's go straight to the point.

You believe God(s) created all these things you now see, right?

You believe she's/he's/it's/they're the only eternally existent entity (or entities) preceding everything else, right?

You believe she/he/it/they said "Be!" and such came into existence, right?

Now here is one question (which you may have come across) that really baffled me while still a Theist:

Since we know that the Universe is made up of Matter, Space, Energy, Force, e.t.c., and of course, as a Theological phenomenon, they exist as a result of the Will of God(s).

Before the God(s) created heaven, earth, matter, energy, time, force, thrones, angels, and many other 'creatables,' where do you think he/she/it/they existed or based??

I mean, the God(s) just existed in the non-position of non-existence for countless quadrillions of billions of years until he suddenly decided to create heaven, earth, matter, e.t.c. Is that the message?

I'm expecting that. It's normal so I'll just ignore the chaff amongst the grain.

Why should he receive insults? He asked a good question.

@OP. We don't know.
Speaking for muslims, we know that God (only One in Islam; Indivisible; Everlasting), pre-exists all existence. His attributes cannot be encompassed by mere human imagination.
The information is also of no significance to carrying out our responsibility on earth, so we are not given.

Our lack of knowledge does not automatically mean that you are right and there is no God. Science is also clueless about the universe's beginning, and no scientist can venture to answer the question of what the states of time and existence were before the universe came to be.

But you're not clueless about the beginning of the universe. You almost know everything, if the Qur'an is to be believed. You're only clueless about WHERE GOD LIVED before he created anything. And maybe who created God. But you know for a fact that it was he who created the universe, and he left us a book to read.

You do know God created Time right? Let's go into the word of God to see things for ourselves. (Genesis 1:1) "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". Since it was "in the beginning," it is implied that time did not exist before this. So thus, time was created at this point.
The word "heavens" means "expanse" and the Bible uses it to refer to three different expanses:
1) It can refer to the region where birds fly, which we call the sky or the atmosphere Jeremiah 4:24.
2) It can refer to the region occupied by the planets and stars, which we call outer space Isaiah 13:10.
3) And it can refer to the region where God dwells and has His throne Hebrews 9:24.
If we understand that God created the heavens refers to the first two realms, the sky and outer space, then we see that God also created the concept of space (or dimensions) at this point. He also created the earth, but the next verse mentions it was without form, so we know that "earth" isn't referring to the planet. It is suggested that it is referring to matter in general before God formed it into various things. The word "create" means to make something from nothing or to make something that has never existed before. It is a word which only applies to God. So in this first verse God has created times, space, and matter -- the foundational building blocks of our universe
There is nothing implied in this verse that God necessarily created His own home (the third heaven) at the same time.
(Isaiah 57:15) "For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, ..."
