You sound haughty and insecure, sir. You need not take a swipe at anyone to prove your point. What do you mean by 'less imaginative peers'. Not everyone who is not into agric is less imaginative, you displayed crass sophistry there. Rather than this unseemly disposition, why not marshal your efforts towards achieving the objectives of the scheme?
Do not take this as a form of derision, rather try and be less malignant in trying to drive home your points. I wish you luck and keep up the wonderful work.

To us farming is trendy, and notwithstanding our impressive academic qualifications, we are very much at home soiling our hands to eke out a living where our less imaginative peers see no opportunities.

@sirriddy,
i see nothing bad in what he just posted. The ibos say, "aka aja aja na-ebute onu mmanu mmanu." A lot of nigerians are ooking for non existent jobs for years where they have vast lands at their disposal lying fallow. Guy, dts being less imaginative.

Agric is the way to go. Nowadays, i dont keep any land idle. it must be working till am ready to develop it.

Is there an age limit to be a part of this initiative?
Re: Nairaland Farmers Converge @ogbomosho 4 Youth Agri-business Initiative(yabdi) by Nobody: 2:57pm On Dec 17, 2014
The importance of the Agric sector in any sustainable economy cannot be over-emphasized, dear. In as much as I aptly laud this and so many other ingenious initiatives, I am also critical of any form of grandiose meanor capable of discouraging individuals in other equally positive and salutary ventures. I just want the man to see himself as a leader now and be wary of how he makes his points and the effects it might have on so many innocent people. In trying to be polemic and appropriately convince people of this initiative, scathing remarks like the one I highlighted is unwarranted and highly malicious. Just demonstrate and accentuate the propitious implications of the project and keep on with the awareness. No need for tantrums.
BTW, I am also an unrepentant apologist of agriculture, so this is nothing personal. Wish you guys good luck.
