As a result of expansion in the new school year, our client, a School in Olambe Area of Ogun State requires the services of well qualified and seasoned professionals with proven track records, for both teaching and non-teaching appointments in their school. Successful Candidates must be ready to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

JOB DETAILS

CHEMISTRY TEACHER

REF NO: HR/T-0001; LOCATION: Lagos.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

This candidate will:

*Prepare and deliver lessons to students on topics such as organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and chemical separation.

*Develop instructional plans and learning materials for students.

*Supervise students' laboratory work.

*Evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory performance, assignments, and papers.

*Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required
records.

*Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.

*Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.

*Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.

*Maintain student progress reports according to school policies.

*Assist students in proper usage of school equipment and materials.

*Maintain the classroom safety and Hygiene.

*Prepare and submit required reports related to instruction.

*Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.

*Attend educational trainings and workshops for professional growth.

*Attend staff meetings and conferences as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Chemistry Teacher: BSc. Chemistry Education, At least 2 years cognate experience. Candidate must be articulate and smart.
