He looks like a tyrant! He is an ex-military officer, etc. In this 21St century do we need tyrants for democratic leaders? Can he offer "TRUE" democracy? Please I need answers with proofs. Thanks smiley

Jonathan seems to be very "democratic" hence people(even the media agencies) voice out their minds (without much sanctions or will I say no sanctions?) . But is general buhari willing to offer this type of DEMOCRACY and even "MORE"? Please I need answers. Thanks smiley

Buhari is more than capable to be a democratic President:
1. He is well trained not just to be an excellent President (an administrator), but also to lead as Commander In Chief.
2. Even those who hate him will tell you, Buhari will not bend the rule and be involved in mago-mago. He is an upright man and play by the rule (constitution).
3. The entire APC Primary Election is beyond proof that Buhari is willing to follow a democratic process, discuss issues and pick the best option on the table. He will work well with others.
4. His deputy is a well grounded Legal luminary, who will be at hand to support him so that he will not over step his bounds.
5. This is a democracy, prosecution of loters/criminals will be done by the courts and their judgement will be respected.
6. Fixing our broken systems will be don in collaboration with the National Assembly.
7. PDP as the main Opposition party will be at hand to scream if anything tries to go wrong. Also those in PDP know all the means of looting, so they will tell Nigerians if anyone tries to be funny.
8. When the Buhari administration start prosecuting Corrupt politicians, they will be pointing fingers and be exposing each other - as such the government will be able to recover looted funds we did not even know about.
9. A Buhari led FG will do all it can to better than that of Jonathan, else we kick them out. What is the essence of having two items if you will never use the other one.

Buhari will make a great Leader. Only the very corrupt are campaigning against him in order not to stop looting Nigeria.

Support Buhari. Vote for Change.

@egift, please may I know why buhari wants to be the president? Besides, what democracy can he offer when "HE" overthrew a democratic government in 1983 during the reign of shagari? May I have answers to these questions. Thanks
Re: Is Buhari Capable Of Offering "TRUE" DEMOCRACY? by Nobody: 12:40pm On Dec 31, 2014
Does buhari want to rule in this very democracy he was against? What democracy does he has to offer after overthrowing a democratic government in 1983? Besides @egift, I doubt if you know the meaning of democracy. If you did, you won't appreciate buhari coming back. He doesn't posses any TRUE quality of a DEMOCRATIC LEADER. (note the word "DEMOCRATIC" and "TRUE"wink)
Re: Is Buhari Capable Of Offering "TRUE" DEMOCRACY? by Nobody: 12:46pm On Dec 31, 2014
Besides imposing sharia (which is a religion based ideology)shows how AUTOCRATIC his leadership may be and not a DEMOCRATIC ONE that we all crave for. We are here today, commenting on what we feel about the nation on nairaland because of the "DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP OF GOODLUCK JONATHAN" should it be buhari, Seun osewa would PAY FOR THIS. We should learn from obasanjo's regime. Once a military always a military, and would never be suitable for democracy. Peace

Btw @egift, you said he is trained excellently. Please may I ask, in what manner was he trained? Because the last time I checked, he was trained in the "MILITARY" which is totally opposite of what "WE" are agitating for! We don't need his type TRUST ME. Buhari's coming back would take us back to the 1980's (oh jeez!!!) and we wouldn't want that or would we? Even the the Arab world is clamouring for democracy, ask Egypt, Libya, Syria, Tunisia, Saudi-Arabia, Bahrain etc. Funny enough, even the UAE. So what are we saying? The likes of buhari have lost their relevance, in this present day, any other "DEMOCRATIC YOUTH LEADER", YES! But buhari is a BIG NO

Buhari is a pure jihadist. He doesn't have a certificate(which qualifies him for boko haram), he was trained in the military(an oppurtunity to be a jihad fighter) retired a general, and now wants to lead people(particularly his own people) into jihad. No wonder, muslims love him so much. I pity christians who think he is their saviour. This man is a beast. Muhammad!!!!!! This is not turkey!!!!! You have failed(starting from warri grin and it will extend by the grace of GOD AMEN). this man will so lose this election
