Nigeria needs capitalist welfarism and not socialist welfarism.

Please dont throw out words you don't understand. The two parties cannot be giving us the same ideological direction. There has to be a clear and distinct differentiation in both parties as far as economic ideology goes.
Capitalist welfarism is what the PDP government has been doing wrongly. When governments mindlessly throws money at monopoly organizations and already rich people and practically empower only Dangote and Oil marketers with government money and tax waivers you are wrecking the economy because those people and organizations get soft and very inefficient. They also get uncompetitive internationally and cronyism develops between privatised businesses and the govts that sold them. Very serious corruption and cronyism and fascism can develop this way.

The PDP government realized the error too late and now they are doing the partially right thing by now concentrating on SMEs. With SMEs having access to loans and perks previously going to large monopolies you actually get more people employed.

What the APC will do is empower small technical businesses, manufacturing, services with loans, training and patronage while also moving a lot of people move out of poverty so that the small businesses can be patronized adequately. You need to always look at the demand side in everything as well. According to my own rough calculations, the N5000 allowances for 25 million with improve GDP by a further 4.5%, if we tax well and do good things with exchange rate, inflation will not increase by more than 2% because of that but after 2 years, Nigeria will become like China with many local small scale manufacturers making goods for the west African and African markets.
