According to the opposition party, governor Ayo Fayose’s scandalous “death advert” associated with Muhammadu Buhari was an evident violation. According to the APC, it was “the incendiary, insensitive, reckless and provocative death-wish-for-Buhari advert, sponsored in his name by the zany Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose.”

While the January 14 peace agreement was concluded with the aim to avoid violence, the opposition expressed concern over “what could have happened in the wake of this demonic advert, laced with ethnic put-down and a morally-repugnant death wish for a fellow being.”

The APC called for action against those guilty and their “serious breach of the agreement”.

“We are also calling on all Nigerians as well as security agencies, the Independent National Electoral Commission and the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria to take note of the political desperation of the PDP and its supporters, while warning that we will hold President Jonathan and his party responsible if anything untoward should happen to the APC presidential candidate.”

How peaceful was the pact anyway?

I was laughing when i heard about the January 14 peace pact between APC and PDP. How can cats and rats sign a peaceful pact, not here on earth nor the life to come.
Politicians are decitful, they can even sell their own mother to win election.
