I think I'm shy but people say I'm very direct and outspoken.

My manager said the same thing yesterday. To be honest, it depends on the circumstances. Sometimes, I'm just a butterfly on the wall, other times I'm that pink elephant in the room. Just depends on if I care about what's going on.

People especially guys think I'm a snub..I'm just the quiet type and I'm very friendly when I'm close to a person...People think I'm an unserious student cos I'm close friends with my guitar...People think I won't go far in life ( I just dey leaf dem)but at the end,their thoughts do not matter at all.

I am you, just worse. I can see your experience is even good since they retrace their steps. In my case, if I protest how I'm treated, that itself becomes the problem because they've decided how I must be based on their own poor perception of me. Sadly, over time, the sheer weight of everyone seeing you a particular way rubs off on you yourself and you start to subconsciously see yourself that way or engage in a battle with yourself about it. It's a tough life

I wish I can prove them wrong but I don't have time proving anything to anybody because I have nothing to prove really. If you don't get close to me just to know me before you start judging me then remember that as you are pointing one finger at me the other 4 points back to you.
