#Buharigate:Hausa Language Was Not Offered In 1961 Exams–University of Cambridge by Monimatic(m): 8:14am On Jan 26, 2015
University of Cambridge has said that Hausa Language, which is among the subjects listed in the “result” of the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, was not offered in its examinations in 1961.
Gen. Buhari had claimed that he wrote and passed the subject offered by the university/West African School Certificate, WASC.
an e-mail dated Thursday, January 22, 2015 from the institution’s Archives Delivery Service Officer, Jacky Emerson, to one Sodiq Alabi, who requested for confirmation if the university offered Hausa Language in the 1961 WASC it organised, Emerson, in his one-sentence reply, said: “According to the Regulations for 1961, African Language papers, including those for Hausa, were not included for West African School Certificate.”
The clarification has further cast doubts on the result which is purported to be Gen. Buhari’s.
In fact, Buhari is yet to react to the assertion by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Campaign Organisation, PCO, that the document was forged and illegally procured.
The PCO, through its Director of Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, had pointed the inconsistencies in the document at a press conference in Abuja last Thursday.
Fani-Kayode had, among other things, pointed out the alteration on Mathematics, which he said Gen. Buhari must have failed, added that since that was the case, he should not have been enlisted in the military as a commissioned officer, having failed to satisfy the requirement of pass at credit level in Mathematics.
He said at best, Buhari should have been enlisted as a non-commissioned officer.
Fani-Kayode also questioned the recent passport photograph of Buhari on the statement of result (which is not a certified true copy) purportedly issued by the Ministry of Education, Katsina State; the “1961” date at the top of the document which conflicted with the “2015” date signed by the Principal of Government College (Pilot) Katsina, whose name was not stated in the document.
Fani-Kayode then called on the police to track down those who masterminded the forged statement of result.
Meanwhile, a research report by an educationist and professor of Educational Foundations, University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, A. A. Adeyinka, has also punched holes in the claims of Gen. Buhari that he sat for and got credit pass in Hausa language from the Provincial College (now Government College, Katsina) in 1961.
Adeyinka, in the report titled: “Major Trends in Curriculum Development in Nigeria,” said no school in Nigeria offered subjects in local languages at that time.
His research report had further chipped away the credibility of the Statement of Result released by the college to support Buhari’s claims that he sat for WASC.
According to the research, which is available at www.unilorin.edu, prior to the emergence of a centralised government by the regime of Gen. Yakubu Gowon from 1966 to 1975, all regions in Nigeria had different academic curricula.
He added that it was only the Western Region that offered a local language as a subject in both their curriculum and school certificate examinations.
The don said it was after a central government was formed and a universal educational curriculum was developed and adopted that other local languages were included in schools curricula in 1974.
He listed subjects in the academic curricula to include English Language, Biology, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, Health Science, Literature in English, Bible Knowledge, History, Geography, Yoruba, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
According to Adeyinka, Yoruba entered the academic curriculum following the recommendations of a commission setup to review the academic curriculum for schools in the then Western Region.
He wrote: “In the former Western Region, for example, both the Banjo Report (1961) and the Taiwo Report (1968) recommended the revision of the school syllabuses and the introduction of a new structure of education.
“The Banjo Report specifically recommended a new model for secondary education, comprising junior and senior secondary schools. The curriculum of the former should be comprehensive.
“This was partly the origin of the Aiyetoro Comprehensive School experiment started in 1963. The Taiwo Committee recommended that the primary-school curriculum should be overhauled and new syllabuses prepared in such subjects as Mathematics and Social Studies. Similar recommendations were made in the East (Dike 1959, Ivan Ikoku, 1964).”
Gen. Buhari has raised so much dusts over the delay in the release of his school certificate to support claims he made in the forms he filled with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC as part of requirements to contest the 2015 presidential elections on February 14.

Gusau didn’t attend Katsina College with Buhari – Fani-Kayode
Also yesterday, Fani-Kayode faulted a syndicated media report, which indicated that the Minister of Defence, Gen. Aliyu Gusau, said that Buhari passed his Cambridge/WASC in 1961 and that they both attended Katsina College.
In a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, Fani-Kayode said the report was part of the opposition’s propaganda and desperate bid to cover the wrongdoing of their presidential candidate whose integrity they have so much flaunted.
According to him, “It has been brought to our attention that a number of online publications and newspapers have published a false story suggesting that Gen. Aliyu Gusau, the Minister of Defence, has defended Gen. Buhari on the certificate issue and has said that they attended Katsina College together.
“This is pure falsehood and crass disinformation, and it is indicative of the type of shameless desperation and propaganda that the opposition are now indulging in.
“Not only did Gen. Gusau not attend any school with Gen. Buhari or go to Katsina College, he has also never sought to defend or absolve him in the ongoing controversy about his school certificate.

“We urge the Nigerian people to be very wary of the antics of the opposition when it comes to this and virtually all other matters and we encourage them to continue to insist that Gen. Buhari should stop clutching at straws and prove that he is the man of integrity that he claims to be by producing his school certificate.”
Fani-Kayode said that, “anything less than that is simply unacceptable and all the filthy lies, tricks and dirty tactics in the world cannot help him.”

All the APC supporters on Nairaland have failed to address my concern about the released result sheet. Take a look at this sheet, even a secondary school boy can clearly see that the names were imposed on the sheet evidenced by the disjointed lines. This is a case of forgery.

Why did the school have to forge this result sheet for bokobinhari? grin grin grin

Not to worry because come next month, we will send buhari back to the sambisa forests where he truly belongs to meet with his brother shekau and others from Futa Jalon. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

The APC supporters have chosen to deliberately blind themselves to this forgery. These cambridge result sheet is clearly "Oluwole." Funny enough this is the buhari that these cretins are trying so hard to make Nigerians believe that he fell from heaven and the best thing to happen to Nigeria. This is the same buhari that intends to fight kworapshan.

This is not a surprise because jagaban Toronto himself-Tinubu is in the APC. A kworapt folitician that uses Lagos state as his personal ATM and wallet. We are watching.

There will be NO rigging next month because the PDP would not need to do that, Nigerians will reject bokobinhari next month and chase him back to Sambisa. embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed
