Helo felow nairalanders, i think there is need for we all to discuss on the current trend in the Niger Delta. The situation in the delta, as we can see has degenerated from a "Niger-Delta problem" to a "Nigeria/International" problem. international in the sense that it has given the 'Nigerian face' a very urgly one in the international arena.

However, as patriotic Nigrians that want change, we all have a duty- the duty to start analysing and profering solutions to the problems in our own little ways.

Plz before we start, let me ask, is 13% reasonable for a region that accounts to 90% of Nigeria's GDP? why is there poverty in the region?

(1) what is Political instability
(2) what are the current causes of political instability in the Delta region
(3) what are the solutions to the problem?

concious Youts in the Delta have armed themselves in diffrent volunteer groups to agitate for Niger Delta emancipation. What step have u taken? Plz lets start talking, if we don't talk, who will?

Tenx.
