I think this is true! Men these days don't even want to go close to a lady who is not financially buoyant or have a means of livelihood! The word 'love' has lost its first position with Money overtaking it, in items to consider before choosing a partner... but this just my opinion based on my observations. What do you think? Do men also consider financial security when choosing their mates?

@The bolded, some men do while some don't. Truth be told, a man that is financially buoyant and has almost everything at his beck and call might be indifferent about choosing a wife based on her pocket or her bank account, whereas a man who is, say on the average, could make it a criteria in his quest to marry.
