Jonathan Leads With A Double Digits In Presidential Polls by mikelallison2: 7:55pm On Jan 30, 2015 |
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan leads in the Nigerian presidential race with double-digits in two comprehensive national polls Guardian News - Houston, TX - Less than three weeks to the Nigeria’s general election, President Goodluck Jonathan of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is taking a surprise double digit lead in two separate polls over his major challenger, General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) of the All Progressive Congress. In a Guardian News/ American Journal of Transformational Leadership (AJTL) poll released few hours ago, Jonathan swaggers a 36% lead in first poll processed through lived interviews, and a whopping 39% lead in a second poll processed through an electronic survey process. Both surveys were processed with closed-ended question asking respondents who they would choose between the two candidates if elections were held at the time. The first poll was conducted by cell phone interviews among 1200 adults with 200 samples drawn from each of the six Nigerian geopolitical zones, namely, North-Central, North-Eastern, North-Western, South-Eastern, South-South, and South-Western regions between January 14 and January 20. Jonathan polled 63% ahead of Buhari’s 27% percentage points, with 10% yet to decide on either candidate. All respondents identified themselves as eligible voter while age and zones of residence were verified through individual social network accounts. The overall survey has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points, though the margin of partial samples would be higher. The second poll conducted between January 24 and 26 was specifically designed with images, names and party affiliation of the two major candidates, President Jonathan, and General Buhari (Rtd), to enable research participants to expediently check their choices of their next leader. Jonathan topped Buhari with 39%, polling 67% over Buhari’s 28%, with 5% yet to decide. The poll has a margin of error of five percentage points. The Guardian News/ AJTL poll is the first comprehensive poll conducted on the Nigerian election based on the diversity of population samples and methodology. AJTL recommended such triangulated process to create validity and explain with clarity, the fruitfulness and density of individual attitude to social phenomenon. While the study was not aimed at establishing a demographic breakdown of findings, Peter Morgan, a student research intern who took part in the sample-collection process explained that most undecided voters were mainly from the North- Central, North-Eastern, and North-Western geopolitical zones who were uncomfortable to disclose their choices for undisclosed reasons. Further analysis, including a survey revealing the approval rating of the incumbent, President Jonathan is being processed and will be published accordingly.

PDP.... Bunch of clueless people. If not how will the campaign manager of Jonathan choose Joseph Yobo whom a vast majority of Nigeria's soccer fans do not like and call him " calamity Yobo" to be campaigning for him. I have no issues with Yobo and respect his achievements but as a brand.... What effect does have They do not think through before acting. 2 Likes |

One of Jonathan's men had posted on his wall boasting Jonathan was leading Buhari (see the attached picture) in a poll allegedly conducted by a US-based Newspaper, guardiannewsusa.com. As it has always been the case, I knew it was nothing but fraud. The domain name does not belong to the well-respected newspaper but Jonathan's men. They created a look-alike website to confuse Nigerians into thinking Jonathan is popular. Below are some of the things I found out: Domain Name: GUARDIANNEWSUSA.COM Registry Domain ID: 1896982767_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.godaddy.com Registrar URL: http://www.godaddy.com Update Date: 2015-01-20T07:54:54Z Creation Date: 2015-01-20T07:54:54Z Registrar Registration Expiration Date: 2020-01-20T07:54:54Z Registrar: GoDaddy.com, LLC Registrar IANA ID: 146 Registrar Abuse Contact Email: email@godaddy.com Registrar Abuse Contact Phone: +1.480-624-2505 Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited Domain Status: clientUpdateProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientUpdateProhibited Domain Status: clientRenewProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientRenewProhibited Domain Status: clientDeleteProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientDeleteProhibited Registry Registrant ID: Registrant Name: Anthony Ogbo Registrant Organization: Guardian Newspapers, Inc Registrant Street: 7400 Harwin Registrant Street: #319 Registrant City: Houston Registrant State/Province: Texas Registrant Postal Code: 77036 Registrant Country: United States Registrant Phone: +1.2815463333 Registrant Phone Ext: Registrant Fax: +1.7137746660 Registrant Fax Ext: Registrant Email: email@guardiannews.us Registry Admin ID: Admin Name: Anthony Ogbo Admin Organization: Guardian Newspapers, Inc Admin Street: 7400 Harwin Admin Street: #319 Admin City: Houston Admin State/Province: Texas Admin Postal Code: 77036 Admin Country: United States Admin Phone: +1.2815463333 Admin Phone Ext: Admin Fax: +1.7137746660 Admin Fax Ext: Admin Email: email@guardiannews.us Registry Tech ID: Tech Name: Anthony Ogbo Tech Organization: Guardian Newspapers, Inc Tech Street: 7400 Harwin Tech Street: #319 Tech City: Houston Tech State/Province: Texas Tech Postal Code: 77036 Tech Country: United States Tech Phone: +1.2815463333 Tech Phone Ext: Tech Fax: +1.7137746660 Tech Fax Ext: Tech Email: email@guardiannews.us Name Server: NS33.DOMAINCONTROL.COM Name Server: NS34.DOMAINCONTROL.COM DNSSEC: unsigned URL of the ICANN WHOIS Data Problem Reporting System: http://wdprs.internic.net/ Last update of WHOIS database: 2015-01-29T15:00:00Z SUMMARY: 1. You can find him and check his friends on facebook then you would understand that he is a chronic Jonathan e-rat. 3. Website of The Guardian is www.theguardian.com and it has no relationship with guardiannewsusa.com 4. There are many websites setup by the Jonathan propagandists to confuse you, do not take anything as they come. Read between the lines and make sure you can verify the sources. A website with a domain name www.newsdayreporters.com was also being used to propagate their lies but it has been taken down when it was exposed. I had seen a report posted on the website attributing the source to The Nation Newspaper, a media house I have worked with.I quickly calledmy editor who told me it was a libelious post and the media house as a result issued a disclamer -- this could have been the reason the website was taken down! http://saharareporters.com/2015/01/30/pro-gej-fraudulent-online-poll-busted 4 Likes |

PDP is the snake that has been stung by 10000 soldier ants. It has bitten itself to death when it presented Jonathan again for President. What we are seeing is the thrashing around because of the poison it has injected itself with before it's inevitable death. PDP will do well in Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Bayelsa, Delta, Abia and maybe Benue. All the other states will be won by APC in the most complete routing of a rolling party in history and it will not be Buhari who caused but current and departed PDP politicians themselves. 3 Likes |
