The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed that over 14,000 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) have been snatched by hoodlums from its officials during the collection exercise in Rivers State.
The state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Mrs Gesila Khan, disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in Port Harcourt, on Friday.
According to Khan, some of the cards were stolen from collection centres in some local government areas, where the PVCs were deposited to enable the owners have easy access to them.

Some people are just insane how do you intend to use some one PVC when they is card reader to detect, more over all prospective voters will be ask to thump print before voting.

PDP OR APC at fault

Just watch out, some fools will start blaming the PDP just now.

How can hoodlums steal the PVC from various collection centers without information from INEC officials. I think the PVC was not stolen but sold by corrupt INEC officials. Its sad that some people are already planning to rig the elections

Why pdp so desperate like this? we know them very well i heard it that jonathan has distributed card reader to all the 36 states by this time around we will not allow them to steal our mandate warning to apc members make sure your vote count before you leave polls
