Credible sources have informed us that top level PDP and army meetings are being held to prepare for a Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah-led interim military government if General Buhari wins the elections in two weeks. By most accounts, Buhari/Osinbajo are favored to win in a landslide.

The current plan by the Goodluck Jonathan presidency is for Minimah to lead an interim government for 6 months and then conduct new elections that will transfer power to PDP. The Nigerian government officials and some army chiefs are reportedly terribly afraid of the consequences for their actions of corruption and against the Nigerian state that are expected to be investigated and sternly dealt with by a Buhari/Osinbajo administration.

The PDP has been witnessed to be hitting below the belt and applying all types of slanderous and libelous campaigns because for the party it is a do-or-die affair.

NewsRescue exclusively broke the news of an aide to Doyin Okupe, Deji Adeyanju who earlier on hinted of this arrangement.

The presidential elections are to be held on the 14th of February.

Sources say the Jonathan government plans to instigate riots and is planning utilizing its Niger Delta militant terrorists (Boyloaf, Tompolo, Dokubo and co) to stage attacks that will enable the scuttling of the elections at any stage, before, during and after as all projections show a Buhari/Osinbajo victorious sweep. In this event, the army will appear to suddenly decide to stabilize the country, but this is the ultimate plan being made now, ahead of the incidents.

It is discussed that Kenneth Minimah may not transfer power back to civilians if an interim government is formed in the 6 months as he will be demonstrably busy containing Boko Haram terror and other militant action, but this is a risk the Jonathan government is prepared to take.

Few things wrong here. The army don't have the monopoly to plan coup. The air force man too would like to be head of state too so he is not going to look on too taking orders from army all the time when in fact they are powerful than the army and more effective.

However that apart. If the military think they would get any support from the country because Buhari win to plan a coup then I think they are in for something they would not be able to handle. Because they would have piers the heart of the common man praying for a change. More over the Hausa people would not find it funny anymore . We like to waste more in Nigeria reasons not known but some is strange about black people.

Hope apc knows in a democratic settings, corruption is fought by the people and not the president.

Democracy uses no decree to pass law, even obj atest to that, that is why he failed in his reign.
For presidency to succeed in a democratic setting, he must be a close ally to other two arms if not, he will be frustrated and worst impeached.

So all those who strongly believe that buhari will fight corruption will end up disappointed, Because thesame people whom he want to fight are the ones he will chat national issues with in his cabinet, are the ones he will send national bills for approval.

Although, Gej hasnt done much he has definitly eliminated the middlemen in most sectors .

That aside, there's no any stern anti-corruption regime that will happen after Buhari assumes power. Their party chairman once mentioned that they'll get to work immediately and will not waste time and resources
investigating past governments. If APC wins I'm sure they'll cut a deal on not investigating past misdeeds and focus on misdeeds committed after May 29 2015. After all if they dig deep a lot of APC are corrupt.

The coup talk is a recipe for disaster and catastrophe.
