coming barely
days after the

State, John Kerry met with Presi­
dent Goodluck
Jonathan and
retired General Mu­
hammadu Buhari,
Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) and All
Progressives Con­
gress (APC)
presidential
candidates respectively, on
the need to
conduct free, fair
and credible
elections. Abia State
chapter of the
PDP has vowed to
ensure victory at
all levels by all
means despite their unpopular
candidates in the
state especially
the governorship
candidate- Dr.
Okezie Ikpeazu, who many see as

result, the party has been

where the PDP is
not popular in
order for the
party to rig the
elections. Today (Friday) a plot by

Governor Orji to
plant illegal
weapons in the
homes of former Governor Orji Kalu;
APGA governorship
candidate Chief
Alex Otti and his
PPA counterpart
Chief Chikwe Udensi, was
uncovered.” It was gathered
that the alleged
plot is a plan by
Governor Orji to
blackmail the top
politicians for gun running and illegal
