According to the governor of Bayelsa state, Dickson Seriaki, 90% of women in Bayelsa state are the breadwinners in their homes. Governor Dickson said this in a statement read on his behalf by his media aide, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, at the launch of the Women Development Centre and the reconstitution of the board for the Youth Development Center in Bayelsa state yesterday Feb. 1st. "Our government thumbs up for the hardworking women of the state. About 90 per cent of them are breadwinners of their families. We will support them in their role in nurturing the society.” he said. I dont want to believe that Ijaw men are lazy drinking kaikai everyday and sitting somewhere waiting for oil money. I just do now want to believe that. Not true.Dickson is a sadist.How can a governor placed embargo on employment on his first month in 2012 just the same way Buhari did in 1981,that embargo was lifted by OBJ in his second term but that same Buhari is blaming GEJ on youth unemployment now .For Dickson, what happen to bayelsan that graduated from your state owned Niger Delta Univ,Sch. of Nursing,College of Education,Sch of Arts and Sc.,sch of heath tech and other higher institutions home and abroad since 2012 till 2014 |
