And how many were granted visas? If 100 Nigerian journalists apply for say, Australian visa to cover elections, would they all be granted?

Very good, when they deny Nigerians visa for some flimsy excuse, We don't complain.

If the journalist don't meet the visa requirement they should sit back and mind their business

"Applied 8 times from different embassy"

Justwise isn't that violation of our immigration laws? If the idiat is from United State or Britain, they should place him on life ban. Thunder fire em generation.

Unless they shut down internet access then Nigerians will blog, Tweet activities anyways.

I can already see many satellites being repositioned over Nigeria.

No place to hide anymore in these modern times.

Over 80? What are they coming to do? Let them save themselves the trouble: pdp will out-rig APC. It not negotiable.

They haven't helped us in the fight against Boko haram na to come get some story for their media houses. Ban them all.

whats the hell is he talking about? when Nigerians are denied visas to travel to their own countries,do they go about shouting about it on the social medias? and even when they do who listens to them, this so called journalist should just shut up and mind his business,if his colleagues meets up with the visa requirements, they will surely get their visa.we are not fools, they should suffer to come to Nigeria just as we suffer to go to their own countries.

lalasticlala and friends, please move this to the front page.

Nigerians must be made aware that this government is trying to prevent foreign journalists from covering the elections.

Raises a million questions about PDP's intentions. What have they got to hide?

Jonathan has no intention of allowing the elections to hold, ...so why allow Journalist to have Visas for an event he is trying to distrupt?

This Jonathan desperate die...

They should go to Niger and collect entry visa. Are they not the same people who have been referring to Nigeria as Niger in the world map? No entry visa should be particularly granted to Issah Sesseh or whatever she may call herself. Her religion as a Muslim has constantly beclouded her sense of good judgement whenever she is talking about Nigeria in CNN.

Hope PDP is not trying to hijack the system. Cause i really do not see any reason why they shouldn't allow these Journalists if they are going to follow the rules.

#FGallowtheJournalists

So because they are foreign, our borders should be thrown open to them just like dat.
Do u know how many times their countries has denied our National Team players visas to attend tournaments?

They should follow #dueprocess# joor
