By the time they see a 20yr old looking Nigerian claiming 40 yrs with sworn affidavit from our court they will understand that we can never be caged as long as we have our system here that works for us. grin
In the next one year they should expect every Nigerian coming to Dubai to be 40yrs and above. grin

Not true. A friend working with the ministry of foreign affairs contacted the Nigerian consulate in the UAE, it's completely false.

http://newswirengr.com/2015/02/04/uae-introduces-strict-visa-age-restriction-for-nigerians-travelling-to-dubai/

This Development has necessitated my writing this brief piece :
MAJOR REASONS EMBASSIES REFUSE APPLICANTS VISA
Most often people believe that visas are issued to applicants based on the mood of the Consular officers hence the erroneous belief that luck plays a major role in procuring a visa.
Issuance /rejection (application received) all over the World follow the same standard procedure which include ;
A) Passport Validity ; No embassy the world over will grant visa to a passport with less than six months validity
B) Live account ; Embassies are more interested in establishing the fact that the bank statements submitted by you is an account that money has been going in and out from over time more than in how much millions you have in the account
C) Reservation : Where you have to make hotel reservations, always try to make the online payments in your name rather than through agents. There are so many easy ways to do this eg visa gold
D) Intended date of departure ( IDOP) ;
Always make allowance for a time frame of about six weeks between your application date and intended date of departure.
E) Duration of Stay;
Except in the case of residence, it is always advisable to fill between ten and twenty-one days as your intended Duration of stay.
F) On your interview date ;
i) arrive the embassy early to avoid panic.
ii) Dress neatly and appear confident while being sure you have answers to basic information about you on your finger tips.
iii) Throughout the cause of interview, always look the Consular officer in the eyes
iv) Arrange your documents neatly and don't panic while sorting out or trying to produce any of them on request.
In whatever you do, remember that the interviewing officer while perusing your documents is making a mental assessment of your sanity and stability.
Good luck

Nigerians! It's not only UAE that does this. Eastern European countries like Bulgaria and the other Balkan states have tougher rules for Nigerians in particular because una wahala too much. No be by force you must travel, you mention farming to a Nigerian they will say God forbid but will happily go and wash toilet and shave old women toto for care home abroad.
So dem dey shave old women TOTO? You don do the job before? How you take know? That must be a terrible job because I dont know what will happen if someone try to shave our grandmother TOTO.
