A day which was supposed to be a day of love and happiness turned out tragic for a trailer driver in Anambra state who landed in hospital after an unfortunate accident left him with injuries ... According to eyewitnesses who spoke exclusively to a National Helm correspondent, the lorry driver simply identified as Emeka was transporting a load of sand to an undisclosed location before the incident occurred....

It was reported that problem started when Emeka who was in a hurry to get to his destination in time (probably to meet up for a Valentine date) tried to overtake a speeding vehicle -as he lost control of the lorry, falling into a deep ditch along the Upper Iweka expressway close to Army Barracks in the Onitsha area..Some witnesses also said that the driver might have been intoxicated judging from the way he was acting after the accident....Though there was no lost of life, the driver was rushed to the hospital following injuries sustained from the crash.....
