Love is the greatest gift anyone can receive in
life. A feeling that you are loved is sufficient to
put you in command over your own life. Love is a
singular factor that can take you to places where
your natural strength would fail. There are three
biblical expressions of love that I want to show
you.
LOVE IS A FORCE
For the love of Christ constraints us;
( 2Corinthians 5:14a). True love is Christ's
sacrificial kind of love. It's a love that compels
one to do goods for others even at the expense of
one's comfort.True love does not say "I can't
please you and displease myself."
TRUE LOVE HAS LIMIT
When you hear people say that 'there's no limit
to what I can do to proof my love for you' smile
and know that he's either exaggerated his
feelings or playing a lust. True love has
dimensions, and as such limit to what it can do.
(Ephesians 3:17,18)
LOVE IS ETERNAL
True love is not the one that starts a day and
dies the next. It is not a love attached to a
particular physical attribute that goes when the
attribute is gone. It is not a love that's
sentimentally attached to what one can gain. It's
a selfless affection that keeps glowing even on
rough and patchy surfaces. (John3:16)
In conclusion, the only way you can make this
world a peaceful haven is to show the love of
Christ to all men. Be willing to help others so
that you will leave this earth a fulfilled man or
woman.
