"The only man who had served the country as the military and democratic Leader"

I really have the plan to write a book about this wonderful man who has always been the talk of the town when it comes to leadership and instinct. He is the man who had never been ignored as far as the history of Nigeria is concern since independence.

He is foundly called "Oba" by his fellow military men both hope and abroad, but without talking so much about his history, i will like to figure out some facts about the Man who has tried in his capability to hold Nigeria as one.

I am one of those people who believe Obasanjo is a bad man for the gorvernment due to my ignorance and the act of following the majority voices. But after i took some of my time to study much about the Man who had been able to keep the Nigerian Image clean in the international community.

Before i will continue with this, i want you to find your time to read "Nzeogwu" "Not my will" "My command" "The animal called Man" "My Watch" all by Olusegun Obasanjo.

It is a pity that many Nigerians today are still abusing or criticising the Living Mandela of our Time. The Man who was imprisoned, served with the most respected military in Africa and the United Nation.

Due to the present political turmoil in Nigeria, most people can't think beyond what OBJ has done for the country since independence.

It is so painful that Chukwuma Nzeogwu aka "Kaduna" is not alive today, and the likes of Murtala Muhammed and others. But the fact remain that OBJ deserves more respect than what he is having right now

i want people of likemind to contribute to this thread and let's dedicate the thread to the Africa Living Legend.

God Bless Baba Iyabo
God Bless Nigeria
God Bless Africa

OBJ is an international man. He's well respected in the world. He's still attending international gatherings and conferences. He's more and chiefly recognized at the International level than the present Nigeria President.

Thanks for the contribution @ Adeyemi. As the thread goes on, we will be discussing on the books published by OBJ, i believe we can all come into conclusion of where and what Nigeria problem really lies.

And moreso, Ben Gbulie talked briefly about OBJ absence on the day of the first military coup in Nigeria.

Another point is that why is it that OBJ was the best candidate for the 1999 handing over?

What makes OBJ to escape the murtala Feb 13 assassination

Did we really think there is much to learn as a youth from this Man called OBA

why do you think OBJ want a library and not a Biggest shopping Mall in Africa @ Abeokuta?

@adervtico, in a sane country, you should be in jailed for been tribalistic, even in Rwanda you should already be sentenced to 10 years without food.

A bigot like you did not even know anything than to be accusing someone of been tribal.

What did OBJ steal and mentioned it. Even Mandela said he is not a saint. I have no doubt that you can sell your father house to watch porn film.

Useless Nigerian liability. Pls off your data and let sensible people contribute.

Back to the topic before the Nuisance Advertisement step in again.

Did you know that the only man who is worthy or bold enough to go and talk with Aguiyi Ironsi in Lagos after the failed coup of 1966 was Obasanjo. Even the civil war was unavoidable after Gowon was unable to take over Enugu from Ojukwu. Obasanjo has always been on the side of One Nigeria, and yet some people will always descend on him as an opportunist.

I keep thinking if people called OBJ an opportunist, what exactly are we going to call GEJ. Even Buhari is an opportunist after the coup that brought him to power because, it seems IBB was the real playmaker.

Pls if you have nothing to contribute to this thread, just sit back and enjoy how OBJ is still the backbone of ONE NIGERIA

I won't say much about GEJ on this thread, so as not to divert from the objectives, but i wonder how a sitting president will ignore elders of the state.

Some will continue to abuse OBJ, while a sensible person will look back and learn from experience. Afterall, GEJ will be claiming the number 1 economy in Africa while billions of dollars is missing everyday.

Do you know the primary objective of EFCC before it was politicized. Someone like GEJ should have been rotten in Kirikiri

I share the same sentiment.

After all, many Nigerians use to compare OBJ as the ugliest Man in the planet or whatsoever. I can bet it that many people did not have a genuine reason for not choosing OBJ as a favourite

we can't forget so soon, the man who paid the debt of Nigerian at the Paris club.

The Man who was hated so much by his own people for not been tribalistic in project handling
