olaideeeedris: Haha...why Igbo exactly and not Yoruba or Angas or Tiv or Hausa etc? In Kenya elementary level grades are referred to as "classes". "Plus" is a widely used informal conjuctive. |

what i have learned from this thread is that 1.nigerians are pessimists. 2.nigerians are hard lot to convince. 3.most nigerians are not proud of their country. 4.most nigerians are not welcoming. why am i saying this,if this post was from a nigerian and in a kenyan forum this guy would have welcomed by many aperson to kenya. It didnt take me long as a kenyan to realize this guy is a kenyan however many of you doubted authenticity of his citizenship. He is a kenyan who happens to know more about nigeria. however it is not unique to him most kenyans do know more about not only nigeria but also other african countries.Thi is owed to education system that encompassed history and geography in their system and such was not limited to kenya. Many many more people would like to visit nigeria as tourist my request is welcome them it will make a difference. It will change the way the world view nigeria. You have what it takes to be a tourist destination if you only appriciate it yourselfs first. 7 Likes 1 Share |

lennymutai: You made lots of good points. Too bad so many people are negative. I'm not Nigerian either and find the culture and people very interesting ...... even the negative doubters are entertaining . It would be a much better world if we all showed more positive interest. 4 Likes |

AlpineSnow:Now this is truly an African. Not the white folks who'll ostracise the whole of Nigeria in lieu of a part. All of Nigeria is not dangerous. Unless you visit Borno, Maiduguri, and some other northeastern states. no offence intended. |

LadyX: Poa sana. Thanks. Zanzibar is a nice place. The beaches there are magnificent and so are the ones in Kenya. If you go to Zanzibar cross over to Kenya, you'll like it too. |

@op, I'm very encouraged by your enthusiasm towards Nigeria/ns. I really hope you make it there one day and your exprience exceeds your expectations. I often wonder about the number of diasporan blacks that would love to visit the places in Africa they have read about. It's a natural progression that comes with reading...........and imagining. 1 Like |
