After the well publicised altercation between him and widows in Edo State, the No1 citizen of the state, has since then, taken the welfare of the widow in the state as a no1 priority. Oshiomole, who is co-incidentally a widower, has been the front burner of advocating for the welfare of the widows since the unfortunate incident. Beyond the rhetorics, the Comrade-Governor or Oshio-baba has he is fondly called has taken concrete steps to addressed the challenges Edo State widows face. Recently, the Governors distributed materials for some group of widows in the state. They includes grinding machines, sewing machines, hair dryers and ten thousand Naira each for the women. On hand to distribute the materials are Governor Adams Oshiomole and the wife of the State duputy governor, Deaconess (Mrs) Endurance Obudu.
