And you were there to hear the case when they setenced complainants to death?
I know, people with very short memory remember recent events only. They even forget the history, genesis and cause of events when it suits them. Especially when bigotry, tribalism and long throat for oil money come in the mix.

NASS has oversight function. Not you or me. Their dithering has cost lives. Except you're a world expert in weapons procurement, don't tell me what you don't know about costs. Anybody can pull out corruption allegations from their a.nus.

There's something called FOB signed by GEJ, if you want to know things, request from apprpriate departments.
Only that it's easier to be lazy, do nothing to get correct information and speculate wildly.

As for Gen. Andrew Owoye Azazi, I will pass, you please interview him if you can see him. cheesy.

This just confirmed what we all have said, Jonathan was not sincere in tackling Boko Haram it is a Political tool.

We cannot reelect a man who can sacrifice the lives of over 20,000 to win votes. And millions of Nigerians displaced.

Suddenly campaigning in military uniforms does not change the fact that 1000s are dead because of his incompetence, laxity and poor-decisions. Which other part of Nigeria will he sacrifice in another 4yrs to score cheap political points?

Jonathan must go!

Yes. But also include over 20,000 Nigerians dead, Communities destroyed, Business scattered, Families separated, millions of Nigerians displaced. There are not the Boko Haram fighters oooh, but innocent Nigerians caught on the crossfire, Why? Because President Jonathan did not tackle the issue head long for more than 5yrs. He just reserved it as a last minute efforts to boost his reelection chances.

This is a very big failure on the part of Jonathan. All he is doing now could have been done in the first year even when Boko Haram were smaller. Rather he turned a blind eye and wished it away. If he was not looking failure in the face in this elections, would he has swigged into action?

Jonathan must go. The way he hsndle the proplems of Nigeria is unacceptable.

ASUU, Polytechnics, Health workers, Judicial workers, etc. Their cases are unresolved. If Jonathan can get votes from through them, you will see him having a marathon meetings with them, but guess what, it does not care because it does not threaten him yet.

When he do am earlier , you no follow shout genocide ? Do good , do bad ... Monkey must complain

Hahahaha.

9ja was set up to fail.

Until people remove their eyes from oil money and let the country divide, with people going seperate ways with their prejudices, nothing will change.
I saw people rigging elections in 1979 & 1983 already. Maybe very young ones still have illusions. But with a 72 years old fossil touted as your future, well it doesn't take a genius.

The presence of boko haram is the beginning of destruction in the North. All hands must be on desk to flush the guys out of the society of any peace loving people of the North.

The North must have learned now that there is profit in shielding the wicked people for selfish advantage. At first they thought caliphate rule terrorists are struggling to institute will add value to their lives.

PhockPhockMan:
The Director of Defence Information, Maj.-Gen Chris Olukolade, has said that troops have recaptured more towns from the members of the Boko Haram sect.

Olukolade said in a statement on Friday that the troops handed out a crushing defeat to the insurgents and recovered the headquarters of Gulani Local Government Area of Yobe State, Bara, and the headquarters of Madagali Local Government area, Gulag, from them in the early hours of Friday.

He said that the troops also flushed out terrorists from other locations such as Shikah, Fikayel, Tetebah, Buza, Kamla and Bumsa, during the two-day operation.

According to Olukolade, many insurgents were killed in the fierce fighting that preceded the liberation of the communities.

The Defence spokesman said that the troops recovered and destroyed several arms and ammunition, vehicles and other equipment.

According to him, the items recovered included anti-air craft guns, general purpose machine guns, barrel grenade launchers, rifles and mortar guns.

Meanwhile, President Goodluck Jonathan expressed confidence that troops would sustain the gains they have been recording in the fight against the Boko Haram sect.

He assured that the military would recover more territories seized by the terrorist group.

Jonathan gave the assurance when the outgoing French Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Jacques Champagne De Labriolle, visited him at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, the President said the officers and men of the Nigerian Army he met on the frontline in Borno and Adamawa states on Thursday were in high spirits, well prepared and determined to successfully complete their operations against the terrorist group.

“We have already recovered much territory and very soon our troops will clear the terrorists out of other areas not presently under our control.”

Accepting a congratulatory message from President Francois Hollande to Nigeria for recent successes of its armed forces against Boko Haram, Jonathan restated Nigeria’s appreciation of France’s support for Nigeria and its neighbours in the fight against terrorism.

He commended Hollande for organising the Paris Summit of Heads of State of Nigeria, Benin Republic, Cameroon, Niger and Chad in May 2014 to foster greater regional cooperation against terrorism and insurgency.

The President pledged that beyond the ongoing military campaign in the North-East, Nigeria would continue to implement all agreements reached at the summit to ensure lasting peace and security within its borders and in neighbouring countries.

Jonathan, however, reassured the international community of his commitment to free, fair and credible polls in the country next month.

The President wished the outgoing ambassador well in his future endeavours and urged him to always be a “good ambassador of Nigeria’’.

In his remarks, Labriolle said that France was “confident in the future of Nigeria and its ability to continue playing a huge role in Africa and world affairs.”

The ambassador also expressed delight at improved trade and economic ties between Nigeria and France in the last three years, noting that over 250 French companies are currently operating in Nigeria.

My grouse is this...if the NA could do all these in few weeks, what happened to over four years wasted at the warfront?
Trust me, before this year runs out, GEJ would be charged for genocide and airlifted to the Hague from Otuoke.

Wait oh...someone said he has NOT seen Obama or Putin in military uniforms before. I think he lied!!
you myopic thinker do you think Nigeria army could do this alone without chad, niger, camerooun, benin blocking their borders, do you think it is easy to arm and train military which had not be arm for 30years imagine the army using T 55 tank before now but T 72 tank now Gej had done well.

the only mistake GEJ made on this matter was to listen to the northern elites including GMB shouting Genocide against the north, when he was clearing BH. He listened to their rantings and bowed under pressure to remove Ihejirika. If not, BH would have long been ended. But their unguarded utterances and whining constantly impeded the fight against BH, because GEJ wanted to please them, not knowing that they had plans to make him look like a failure.
Now they can't do that again because their tricks have been exposed, and GEJ knows better now, he learns who his real enemies are everyday.

So it will not be wrong to say that Boko Haram was deliberately and irresponsibly allowed to fester!

We are right to be very angry with the Otuoke man. He allowed our gallant soldiers and innocent victims to be killed like chickens for politics. Just as GMB said in his Chatham House address, Nigerian military men are brave, competent and well trained. It is Jonadindinrin and other top military brass who made them look cowardly and they shall reap their rewards in due time.

PDP is Boko Haram - Patrick Azazi, former NSA (he was killed for revealing this).

Boko Harams are in my government - GEJ

The truth is that PDP is behind Boko Haram. Jonathan is PDP. Therefore Jonathan is BH.

It shall never be well with that man.

No,HE MUST STAY..the most important thing is that he is working very hard now to stop it.I used be angry with him nd I told myself if I ever vote for him..my mind will always judge me even though buhari was never my choice cos he said openly that he was going to make nigeria hard for him to govern if he shld loss the 2011 election nd he has kept to his promise.some group of people actually think nigeria belongs to them, all these things they are saying the president didn't do,why didn't the past presidents do it ?now if someone has pothole in his house they will start shouting jonathan without calling their state government first or is it cos we have a president that listens to the masses?one more thing MR president,u need to settle those that lost their loved ones nd properties to these demons called BOKO HARAM,I don't know if u have done anytin in that regard but incase u havnt,u need to look into that too.. Long live MR PRESIDENT. Long live rochas okorocha. Long live jimi agdaje.
