A Doctor of economics and Director-General of Good Governance Initiative GGI, Dr, Sunny Osa has punctured speeches made by the All Progressives Congress APC Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House London describing it as laughable.

The leader of GGI, a socio-political and economic watchers group in a statement weekend in Lagos said even though it was clear that the retired general was reluctantly reading a script prepared for him by those who see him as a tool to actualize their selfish political goal, the delivery was fraught with a deluge of irregularities and fallacious promises that are unrealizable. The group wondered why the APC Presidential candidate and his stalwarts had to travel all the way down to London for the purpose when the Nigerian’s equivalence of Chatham House, the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs on Victoria Island Lagos lay fallow.

Dr. Osa specifically, noted that apart from the fact that the retired general was bereft of ideas pertaining to the nation’s macro-economic indices and cold not therefore, give categorical answers to salient economic questions to convince his audience including Nigerians present at the occasion as to how he would turn around the fortunes of the country; he lost control of himself when he was asked a about his hard stand on the introduction of Sharia law for the whole country if he was voted in. According to him, ”Why Chatham House to deliver his speech and not NIIA if they are not deceitful? This is a man who could hardly stand for more than five minutes at every political rally to deliver his speech but stood for over 30 minutes in Chatham House chattering away fallacious promises. If for anything, I view Buhari and his cohorts’ appearance in Chatham House as a tragic epic movie, deceitful and a move calculated at currying sympathy where there is none. If you watch the footage, you would have noticed that he was reluctantly reading a script prepared for him by those who want to use him to actualize their selfish political agenda. What was the electoral value of the Chatham speech, who do they wish to impress? During his speech, Buhari could not hide his ill -feelings for those he has perceived as enemies who he aims to vent his wrath on should he secure his presidential ambition. Nigerians should ask themselves why he is contesting for the fourth time having been rejected trice by the same Nigerians. Listen to his uncoordinated and laughable speeches and you would realize that they hold no water.”

The GGI helmsman therefore, urged Nigerians both within and in Diaspora to be vigilant, discerning and disregard the smokescreen appearance of the general and his agents of economic destabilization and vote them out during the forthcoming March 28, general elections. According to him, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan deserves all the supports needed to actualize his transformation agenda for the country.

Exactly my thoughts, I was wondering y he would spend 6minuites or less for his campaign talking to those who he wants to vote him, but would rather go to London to spend 30mins reading wat was written for him by some ppl, talking to ppl who won't b here to vote for him. wat a slave mentality.
Couldn't spend d same 30mins in a debate with ur opponents to talk to ur fans about wat u will b doing for them, .
Well, that's their own kettle of fish, Truth is God knows who will sit on that throne.
If it is not for Buhari, no matter d struggles, he can never sit, n vice versa.
God bless Nigeria.
