INEC Lack Transparency In Ad-hoc Staff Payment by bamac(m): 8:18pm On Mar 01, 2015
Its being observed that INEC doesn't have specific amount of money paid to their Ad-Hoc staffs nationwide.
During the distribution of PVC, Ad-Hoc staffs were not paid the same allowance throughout the federation. In some states they were paid #3000,in some other states #4000,some states even claimed to have collected #3500.
For the election training the same thing is happening. In some states they are giving #3000,some #4500 etc. No one knows if this act of difference in payment is from INEC's head office or state office.
Why can't INEC announce to the country the amount stipulated for any job done for them?
Now election is almost here, non of the AD-Hoc staffs knows the specific amount they will collect, how will they know if they are cheated or not? Something must be done to curb this abnormality.
