The last time Ihejirika and his troops cornered Boko Haram and pushed them into Sambisa Forest. They invented a propaganda and accused the Nigerian Army of human right abuses and all sorts. The ability of Nigeria to procure weapons to finish the fight was weakened, our Army was demoralised and the war was elongated more than necessary.

Once again Nigeria is making progress, China/Russia have been helpful in supplying us weapons while through AU and UN we have been able to rally regional forces to defeat Bok Haram. The end of Boko Haram as we know it is in sight and the enemies of Nigeria have swung into action again.

This time by the help of their UK and US media allies they have decided to release stories accusing the Government and our Military of Treason. Boko Haram is about to be defeated and it is their only election campaign point and they are willing to run the country down just to win elections!

What is UK/US interest in seeing Nigeria fail. Why did our supposed historical allies refuse to sell us Ebola drugs or undermine our efforts to win this war against Boko Haram? Nigeria's oil and the interest of Exxon Mobil or BG group may have something to do with it. We may never know the truth.

But all who love this country must reject the attempt to run our country down and support our Army!
