I write this as a concerned Nigerian.
With the rate at which the country has been insecure just because of a terrorist organization, which I believe the country has the force to bring down long ago.Our dear nation Nigeria, has suffered really too long from the consistent attacks of this terrorist organization.
After the devastating UN building bomblast one would have thought that the country would have done so well in bringing the culprits to book, but all we now see is the culprits bringing this Nation to book. We heard some of the members arrested, but with no significant improvement in overcoming of the bokoharam. This should have given Nigeria the impetus to overcome the terrorist organization
Atacks here and there claiming the lives and property of Nigerians still lingers, from the bombing of churches, mosque, and other places to kidnapping of the more than 200 girls could have been prevented. It is pertinent to note that Nigeria has the ability to do this. Some backward thinking people will say that terrorist is a global phenomenon and global threat. we can't keep dwelling on this mis guided thought.
With the election looming, the federal govt decided to postpone the election on the basis of crushing this terrorist organization. Victory seems to be coming though, but this should have happened a long time ago before the kidnap of more than 200 children and killing of thousands of Nigerians. It seems the competition given to the president by major gen.Mohammadu Buhari jeers the federal government to wake up from their killing, disastrous, calamitous slumber.
As a man said 'i would always neglect, reject, deject a man sleeping in time of trouble'. Just has this man we should not be cajoled by the crushing of the bokoharam terrorist organization by the federal government. Instead we should shine light in our obsureness and see the good that awaits our dear Nation if change happens.
