As a christian, any time i see pastors with escorts and bodyguards i feel not comfortable. please am not judging anybody
but as Christians i need clarification whether this is right base on following bible teaching

2 Corinthians 10:4 : For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
1 Peter 5:11 : For all power belongs to God, now and forever. Amen.

When i compare with above bible verses and many others with

Isaiah 8:20 :To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.

Honestly i believe if you are not too obsess with material things why the need? Even in the mild of persecution Jesus commanded Peter to
put his sword back into its sheath ( John 11 vs 18). Thank God there is nothing like physical persecution here in south, so why escorts?

Pastor dey use body guard & amoured vehicles dey waka about but, he told u(the congregation) that u should not fear that God is with thee. Abeg sue that pastor for misleading the public..
