Emeka Umeagbalasi of African Independent Television (AIT) on Sunday,1 March 2015 at 11 p.m., presented his findings from a Daar communications sponsored investigation of buildings worth billions of naira located within and beyond Lagos State supposedly acquired and owned illicitly by former Lagos Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


The hour-long documentary, which was broadcast on Sunday,1 March 2015 at 11 p.m., allegedly “unmasked” various properties, dubious businesses and companies across Lagos allegedly owned by Tinubu. The programme, which described Tinubu as “Nigeria’s biggest landlord,” also claimed that he was “charged for narcotics” in 1993 in the United States

Mixed reactions has trailed the controversial documentary. Many are of the opinion that AIT has been compromised by the PDP while others believe that the Documentary is factual.

To a sane person d guy is a big thief, buh to d apc thugs he's an icon and dem role model.

Anybody can come up with all forms of investigations. To do a good job, he should at least look for the title documents for most of these properties to convince us they are his otherwise, his findings could just be his opinion.

To mi he may not be a saint but he is a man who finger print no one can deny call him names if you like,giv him a label yet he remain a figure in the politics of naija,run all d evil and gd commentaries about him yes he is a thorn to the many ppu..Ask Obasanjo when no can dare him he did,ask abacha with his money he fought the dark giogle man when no can look into is face..He is human he may not be perfect yes o yes but you can't take his personality away from naija politics...

He's a hero for facilitating the birth of the strongest and most formidable opposition party in Nigeria, one that is on the verge of, and has the brightest chance, of unseating an incumbent president -- and if successful would be a first in Nigeria's history.

He's a villain for not supporting Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's re-election bid -- according to PDP supporters.

Why is he a free man if all these allegations are true?
Why isn't he in jail now?
This shows how incompetent Jonathans government is, during Obasanjo's tenure governors were prosecuted accordingly.
This is just desperation in every sane mind.
To me Tinubu will continue to remain a leader,
He is no saint but he is better than the majority.
