I still cannot fathom why these people are trying to sell us a decayed infrastructure as a "party of saints". The other day, I saw one guy posting pictures of Fashola's said achievements and I weeped for that dude and people blindly buying his inept and biased display of support for the APC. He kept on posting similar pics on several ocassions while they applauded him by giving him likes to boast his damaged ego.

Fashola commissioned this, Fashola commissioned that. Where were the projects commissioned? In the government house? How are the majority of Lagosians benefiting from these projects? If truthful and unbiased Lagosians tell you about their plight, you will weap for them. When you leave places like Lekki, VI, Ikoyi and Alausa, where the government's "great works" stops and go to places like Aguda, Satellite Town, Ajegunle, Oshodi(on a normal rainy day you will be swimming in mud here), Orile, Ijora, Boundary, Apapa, Mushin, Sare Iganmu, Okoko, Ojo, Oguafo, etc, then you will weap for Lagosians.

Am going to discuss two issues here, power and water supply.

They were all screaming for control of power distribution and privatisation. The federal government privatised PHCN/NEPA for them to handle individually and then give more power to the people but they decided to sell darkness to people at outrageous prices.

During the time of NEPA/PHCN, we could boast of at least 150 hours of power supply per month, even though it could reach about 200-250/month at times. We were paying between 2-4k monthly then.

Now checkout the services of Eko and Ikeja electricity destribution companies. We get power supply between 20-30 hours per month from Eko distribution company at outrageous bills of NGN 14,858.50. In this whole month, we've not had up to 4hours power supply. These were the same people castigating the federal government before privatization.

My question now is, what happened to the power stations Fashola commissioned? Are they meant to serve only Tinubu's businesses and Fashola's home?

On water issue. We were having little water supply during the military regime, although we bought most of the water we used. With transition to civilian rule, we were thinking all our problems will be solved only for us to meet a worst case scenario. Ever since the democratic governance in Lagos state (1999), we stopped having water supply from Lagos state water board. We have been buying our own water.

Recently, water tankers went on strike due to the hike in price of water sold to them. The same government blaming federal government for certain failures couldn't stop themselves from failing to give Lagosians a better life.

Our politics sucks and we do need to change our political mindset and our behaviours in order for the country to survive.

APC is stepping on our heads, taking a shît on our heads, slapping us on both cheeks, stabbing our backs and still telling us they are our angels sent to deliver us from the hands of our enemies.

Honourable Mr. Lalasticlala please help us with your space if this topic and content is worth FP.. Thanks loads..
