God bless you for bringing this vital Scriptural point out to the fore. This is one of the many reasons I no longer associate with the Catholic Faith.

Why pray to Mary to intercede on their behalf when the Bible clearly mentioned the only mediator between Man and God, who is Jesus Christ.

mY major problem is not the doctrine per se....but but the enthusiasm with which people uphold this clear heresy

Religion is just a pastime jare! Maybe at d point of death we'll realise that all these religious activities were just activities directed at keeping the human mind busy and also to give man a sense of belonging!

Just like some people approach their pastors or other fellow xtians for prayer so catholic seek mary and other saints for prayers

i do not need the bible to use the word 'intercessor' for mary it is recorded in the bible at the marriage of cana and am sure u know this too

did u have ephesians 6:18 in your bible? it says "praying always with all prayers and supplication in the spirit,and watching thereunto with all perserverance and supplication to all saints" thats why we catholic makes supplications to the saints as well as virgin mary because she is one of them.

That Bible verse which you quoted earlier did not in any way admonish you to pray to Mary to intercede for you. Jesus Christ remains the only mediator between Man and God.

Another angle to look at it is this, why didn't that same scripture specifically mention the name Mary as one who can intercede?

You believe we will all die one day, if so have you thought of where you will spend eternity when you die? Heaven!

Brothers and Sisters, the only way to make heaven is through the Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:6 " Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh to the father except by me.

Because you can read this means you'v got another opportunity to make amends and turn to Jesus Christ today.

He is coming soon

Yes we have the verse, after all the Bible was compiled and canonised by our bishops!!! Having said that, when St Paul says here that Christ is the one mediator he is not talking about intercession. He is talking about Christ saving humanity through His sacrifice on the holy cross.

Just the way you kneel before the portrait of your pastor screaming God of MOUKA, OYEDEPO and co, that is how we come before our blessed mother to intercede for us. She has been declared BLESSED.
