Please let me know the following.

1. For someone who want to create talking cartoons, which of the softwares will you recommend?.

2. Can I import works form Makehuman to Papagayo?. Of course I understand I will have to save it on my hard drive before exporting, but I just want to know whether Papagayo have a botton to import jobs.

3. Is papagayo a stand-alone software?. What I mean is; Does papagayo allow character creation?.

I need know this before downloading.

u can lip- synch on blender, build a virtual 3d world that will convince d beholder that this is real.. u can produce hollywood tricks with d proper stage settings,green screen masking... u can even make movies in virtual locations just blend and fly high....
u gonna need a powerful system to make ur rendering, simulations e.t.c fast

MAKEHUMAN

Makehuman is a very awesome tool,just as the name implies it used for making 3D humans and human like figures and guess what it is free (open source) .I have personally used this sofware and it was a wonderful experience, all you need is to adjust parameters ,and have your 3D human according to your preferences,there are so many controls to adjust to get the perfect model.The interface is also awesome ,despite the fact that there are so many controls ,they are well arranged and layed out into various menus and sections ,for easy navigation.Another very cool feature is that it has an option that automatically rigs your model and you can export to so many formats including fbx,dae,obj etc.Also for Blender freaks this software is like a brother from an another mother ,it integrates with blender without problems,since it was also built with python.Get more info about the software here-- http://www.makehuman.org/

FACEGEN

Here is another cool software ,it is a 3D head generating software ,it has so many cool features ,with this software you can take a picture of yourself or anyone and it automatically generates your face with the textures of course ,it has so many morph targets ,to fine tune facial expression .One of the features i love most about this software is that you can export all morph targets and facial expressions at once ,this is a plus for facial animators ,it helps get the job done quickly without creating all the morph targets one by one. PAPAGAYO

This software was not primarily built for 3d artists but it is a great tool for lip syncing and it has plugins for software like 3dsmax,it helps in doing lip sync without problems ,all you need to do is record the voice, type out the words ,make some adjustments and your lip sync is ready .Check the software out here. http://www.lostmarble.com/papagayo/


FBX REVIEW

This is a cool software from my favorite software company Autodesk , It is a software for previewing 3D models ,animations without running the main app used to build those scenes.The main advantage is that it runs the scene smoothly and you can preview animations and models or textures fast without putting strain on your RAM or CPU.It is also a free software, you don't need to buy it .Check it out here

SCULPRITS


Another one of my favorites ,Sculprits was created by the same company that created Zbrush (Pixologic) .I like to see this software as a lite version of Zbrush ,it is a very cool sculpting software ,and you can get awesome results in little time ,it does not have too many menus but you can still get good results in little time .I introduced the software to a friend who had no prior experience with any 3D software and he created a 3D model in no time without any tutoring.It is free to download.Check it out here. http://pixologic.com/sculptris/

2000 + MOTION CAPTURE FILES

This is not actually a software ,but it is a great resource for animators ,it is a pack of motion capture(Mocap) animation files ,about 2000 of them .The animation files where originally created in Carnegie Mellon University and they where converted into various formats by passionate animators.Trust me these Mocap files are a really time saving ,check them out here

MIXAMO

Mixamo is a suite of software (online based) ,with Mixamo you can create models ,rig models and animate them just by clicking here and there, and you have your output without actually doing any real work .One of the feature I love most about this tool is the rigging feature, its just so easy all you have to do is upload your 3D model indicate various important joints in the body it rigs your character for you and all that is left is for you to download your rigged character and start animating BOOOOM!!!!.Check it out here. http://www.mixamo.com/

For a total novice i will advice you go for Blender ,or 3dsmax .The software i listed above a for easy workflow ,but 3dsmax and blender can give you so many options to "showcase your creativity".i chose 3dsmax because it has an easy interface to understand and blender because it is open source.The closet on the list to blender and 3dsmax is DAZ3D.aNY FURTHER QUESTION WILL BE ENTERTAINED !!! LETS TAKE CG TO THE NEXT LEVEL IN NIGERIA(THATS MY VISION)

I UNDERSTAND YOU BRO ,BUT AS THE TOPIC SAYS "EASY WORKFLOW" I WANTED THE LIST TO CONTAIN SOFTWARE WHERE YOU CAN GET RESULT IN A FEW CLICKS,TO BE HONEST BLENDER 3DSMAX MAYA ,CANT GIVE YOU RESULTS IN A FEW CLICKS ,I HAVE USED AND REVIEWED SO MANY 3D SOFTWARE (ABOUT 15 OF THEM)AND BLENDER CANT GIVE YOU QUICK RESULTS YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR TIME TO GET A DECENT OUTPUT, BUT TRUST ME IT IS AN AWESOME SOFTWARE,I AM A 3DSMAX ADDICT..REGARDS DONALD.
