Boy, let us reason together. This is north east. Bauchi is a boko haram state. This is a military convoy, escorting sensitive materials. A region known for suicide bombers. What if it is bomb laden vehicle, and it overtakes and gets to the middle of the convoy and detonate? And this is a lonely village. And convoys don't drive in snail speed, they zoom. Why can't u, just for heaven's sake take it easy and go behind them at a reasonable distance. The prof will get to the university. He is the chairman, the meeting wount start till he gets there. He will just apologies, narrate what happened and commence the meeting.
Have u ever tried to overtake the mobile policemen escorting CBN currency movement? They will just shoot you and kill you andncontinue their journey.

I had a similar experience but in my case they nearly hit my car off the road.

I and a friend who was driving were returning from Lagos to Abuja we just passed a millitary check point and met a truck not knowing it was a millitary truck we overtook it only to realize there was a convoy of toyota hiluxs moving in slow motion. The truck which we overtook just sped and nearly brushed our car with the passanger warning us that he will deal with us.
