NB she should forget about vaginal delivery and opt for elective CS which is safer for her and baby in the consisting she is. CS cannot be more than 250 to 300k. Please solicit for help financially

Let her go for scan first to know the position of the baby and the fibroid...Vaginal delivery is very possible for her but let her do the scan first...

This has nothing to do with teaching hospital. Any good private hospital will section her. I guess you have been advised by a qualified medical personell to opt for elective cs but because of fund you are soliciting for advice from laymen on the Internet. Even if we are doctors, we can't offer appropriate advice cos we are not examining your sister. The position of the fibroid, indication for previous cs, the size of the fibroid and general well being of your sister must have informed whatever advice you were given. If you go and try otherwise now and she ruptures her womb or loses the baby and you rush to a private hospital who refuses your sister without deposit, you will come back to nairaland shouting blue murder. Help doctors to help you. Look for money and follow medical advice. If it becomes an emergency and private hospitals refuse to take in your sister, don't come here to say nigerian doctors are bad. If you can't raise money for your sister, don't expect any doctor to raise the money for you in emergencies.

I wouldn't advise normal birth due to her medical history, my neighbour's GF died last year because of this.
They attempted a normal birth and it was complicated finally before they could perform the CS she and her baby died.
Really sad, i know some general hospitals would still accept her due to the seriousness of her case, please raise
funds and let her check into a reputable general hospital ASAP...off topic, a pregnancy is planned and
even when unplanned we have 9 full months to prepare and save towards it, women learn to save and
plan ahead please.

Two possible complications of the fibroids in vaginal delivery , one is that they may block the birth canal and delay labour, by the time the patient is rushed to hospital for an emergency CS , the baby may not survive and being an unplanned surgery with no prior preparation the chances of major complications is higher. The chances of such a woman loosing her womb are also high. The other is that after delivery the uterus may not be able to contract around the fibroid and such women bleed profusely and may even die. The list goes on. If your sister does go ahead and has any complications please do not blame the unfortunate doctor that she runs to at the last minute for the outcome. I may sound harsh but it's really annoying when patients go against their doctors advice and at the end of the day the same group of doctors get blamed when anything goes wrong!

Open up and solicit for help financially, your sister should go for another CS to save her life and the baby. A woman who already done CS and has fibroid is a very complicated issue. Miracle happens but don't take chances. If you have anybody in Lagos, I will say you move your sister to Lagos as some general hospitals charge relatively low for CS. With under 60k it will be done. Solicit for help please.

This is the best advise for you on this matter.

V birth is possible cos my friend had CS 2years ago and just had anoda baby last month thru V birth, it's just that ur sister's case is different cos of d fibroid and d fact dat she's had CS b4.
Depending of d location of the fibroid, Vbirth might be risky but I believe in Miracle.
Most private hospitals won't even allow her go into labour, they will book her for elective CS cos of d fibroid. I'll advise u source for fund incase Vbirth fail i know it's not easy. God will help her.

Please, OP, many people here have advised you well already. Don't risk your sister and her baby's lives. Even the scan you were advised to go for is not conclusive. The true test would be when she goes into labour and if she does not have adequate emergency services ready, the complications can be very serious. Taking her to UCH or bringing her to a government hospital in Lagos would be your best bet as there are special considerations given to pregnant women and newborns at these places. Please don't be ashamed to collect any help you can get right now. The Lord is her strength.

@ OP, yes. My aunt had fibroid and she gave birth to her two boys the normal way and not through CS though she usually experience extreme pain throughout the pregnancy period but the pain was fought with a particular medication. She gave birth at Ikeja General Hospital.
NB: I'm not a medical practitioner and I think the location of the fibroid matters

Its not her decision to make but that of the doctor in charge. The location of the fibroid will be the determining factor of the route of delivery. Fibroids that occlude the vaginal canal are very rare in practice.

She will deliver safely in Jesus name. U and ur sister shall testify to God's miracles concerning dis pregnancy.
