Founder of the National Action Council NAC ) , Dr . Olapade Agoro , at the weekend urged Nigerians not to cast their votes for All Progressives Congress ( APC ) , Muhammadu , in the coming Presidential election . Speaking To newsmen in Ibadan , Agoro described Buhari as a “political puppet ” of former Governor of Lagos State , Bola Ahmed Tinubu . The NAC chieftain believes that Tinubu only wanted to use Buhari to achieve his own ( Tinubu ) 2019 Presidential ambition. He also argued that the APC candidate cannot fight corruption if voted into power because those who are putting him forward for the election are corrupt politicians. According to Agoro , President Goodluck Jonathan , who has now mastered the Nigerian politics, is better than Buhari, “who cannot speak for 15 minutes without reading from the paper ”. Agoro argued further that the fact that must not be forgotten that all the public offices ever held by the APC candidate were under the military super structure, which is totally strange to democratic practice . “We all know that democracy is a different game that can only exist and be guided by rule of law , contrary to the rule of force best known to Buhari. “We should not forget that all the positions ever held by Buhari were under the rule of force . “At over 70 years of age, it will be difficult and cumbersome for Buhari to start learning rules of democracy. Nigerians should not allow Tinubu to present Buhari to them as a democrat. “Tinubu only wants to use the retired General to achieve his own 2019 Presidential ambition , and that is the reason I call the whole arrangement ‘ Tinu - Buhari Agenda ’ , ” Agoro added.
